Morten Lauridsen discusses 'Light Eternal' with Radio Purdue

A National Medal of Arts recipient and former composer-in-residence of the Los Angeles Master Chorale (1994–2001), American choral composer Morten Lauridsen has gained recognition for his choral music the world over. On his 75th birthday this year, the Chamber Choir of Europe recorded Lauridsen's landmark compositions, including two world premiere recordings, in close collaboration with the composer himself. The latest from Deutsche Grammophon, Lauridsen recently spoke with WBAA - Radio Purdue Music Director John Clare about Lux Aeterna.
