The digital release of selections from Bronze winner Daniel Hsu will be available August 18. Performance highlights from the competition include Beethoven's Sonata No.31 in A-flat Major, Op.110 and Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition. Characterized by the Philadelphia Inquirer as a "poet…[with] an expressive edge to his playing that charms, questions, and coaxes," the 20-year-old American pianist also captured prizes for best performance of both the commissioned work and chamber music at the Fifteenth Van Cliburn International Piano Competition.
