American composer Jack Gallagher makes his Naxos debut in this Orchestral Music recording by the distinguished London Symphony Orchestra conducted by GRAMMY-winner JoAnn Falletta. Acclaimed by rave reviews in Fanfare magazine as "a most welcome release of some absolutely fantastic music" revealing "a warm-hearted directness that is tremendously engaging," the release was recorded at Abbey Road Studios and produced by GRAMMY-winner Michael Fine. Works include Diversions Overture, Sinfonietta for String Orchestra, Symphony in One Movement: Threnody, and Berceuse, cited by Fanfare as "so beautiful it could make you cry." Fanfare noted "the sound is lovely, fully capturing the bloom of that great Abbey Road Studio One. Urgently recommended."
