For today 08 March, 2019, International Women's Day – Georgian women conquering the world. Recognized on the international stage Georgian women are successful musicians, models, pianists, designers, directors, actresses or businesswomen. 

Khatia Buniatishvili, known as the "Beyoncé of Piano" was born in Batumi (a seaside town), Georgia. Khatia was blessed with an extraordinary and impressive talent to play the piano and gave her first concert at the age of six. She has been invited to foreign guest performances in Switzerland, the Netherlands, France, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Austria, Russia, Israel, and She has appeared at many prestigious festivals including Verbier Festival, Progetto Martha Argerich, Gidon Kremer's Internationales Kammermusikfest Lockenhaus, Gstaad Festival, etc. 

Katie Melua, the Georgian-British singer, and songwriter was born in Kutaisi, Georgia, which was then part of the Soviet Union. In 2017, Katie Melua worked with the Georgian Gori Women's Choir. They released an album called "In Winter". It includes various enchanting compositions. Katie Melua married James Michael Toseland in 2012. He is a former English motorcycle racer and a pianist and singer-songwriter of the band Toseland.
