Classical Bae

Celebrated classical fusion violinist Ezinma debuts her EP, Classical Bae, (Decca Records).  The collection succinctly showcases her talent as she reimagines music from the classical greats (Beethoven, Bach and Vivaldi) with her own hip-hop infused style.  The four-track set is available now across all digital platforms and you can listen to the EP here. Additionally, the video to the track "House of Bach" makes its debut today and you can watch it here. 

Ezinma's style is a blend of virtuosic melodies and orchestral soundscapes with hard hitting beats-a classical-fusion that is cinematic, orchestral and anthemic. This fusion, this juxtaposition of seemingly unrelated worlds, allows her to connect with diverse audiences and bring classical music to new audiences.  The EP was produced by Brandon Korn (Travis Scott, Lil Wayne) and Steven Epstein (Yo-Yo Ma, Wynton Marsalis). 

Ezinma (eh-zeen-ma) is a Nebraskan born from a Guyanese father and a German-American mother. Her mixed cultural and ethnic background influenced her musical upbringing and helped mold her into the versatile artist she is today. While classical music will always be a passion for her, she felt a strong need to present the world with a different side of her and has collaborated with jazz, R&B, pop, hip-hop and electronic artists such as Beyoncé, Stevie Wonder, Mac Miller, Yo-Yo Ma and countless others. 

This past year Ezinma launched a nonprofit foundation, HeartStrings, a music-based youth development program for children K-5 of diverse backgrounds and was also selected to work with a variety of brands that include Lexus, Tracfone, Luminous Diamonds, Reebok, Essentia, Gucci, SK-II, and Zappos.

Drummer Bae

Violin sensation, Ezinma, releases "Drummer Bae," (Decca Records) an imaginative medley of cherished Christmas melodies. The holiday single was produced by Brandon Korn (Travis Scott) and Steven Epstein (Wynton Marsalis) and its available everywhere now. You can listen to "Drummer Bae" and watch the accompanying video here.

This fusion, is fully showcased on "Drummer Bae" as Ezinma expertly weaves together, in her own unique way, classics such as "Little Drummer Boy," "We Wish You A Merry Christmas," and "Joy To The World." Her EP, Classical Bae, is set for release on February 6th and it succinctly displays her talent as she reimagines music from the classical greats (Beethoven, Bach and Vivaldi) with her own hip-hop infused style.

Beethoven Pleads The Fifth

Today, violin sensation, Ezinma, announces the release of "Beethoven Pleads The Fifth," (Decca Records) an exhilarating and thumping reimagination of Beethoven's 5th Symphony.  Produced by Brandon Korn (Travis Scott, DJ Khaled, Lil Wayne) and Steven Epstein (Yo-Yo Ma, Wynton Marsalis, Placido Domingo) the re-envisioned hip-hop infused classical track is from her upcoming un-titled EP and the accompanying video is out now.
