What If Mozart Wrote White Christmas, really says it all. An interesting question, and the title to this year's most interesting holiday album. No vocals, just a dozen classic Christmas songs, orchestrated for string orchestra and recorded in spacious Tallinn United Methodist Church in Estonia. Featuring the Northern Lights Orchestra and under the direction of conductor Petri Juutillainen, producer Warren Schatz commented that "the church proved to be a studio like none other, with a spire that dwarfs any of the surrounding buildings. The angled ceiling that ranges from 60 to 80 feet high produced a distinct, natural acoustic, and the reverb would hang for 3 seconds. It was smooth, silky, and balanced everywhere."
