Sunset in the Blue

‘Sunset in the Blue' is the title track from Melody Gardot's new album of the same name, an exquisite collection of originals and covers, all centered around love and collaboration. It is an orchestral celebration of Melody Gardot's jazz roots. She is reunited with the multi-Grammy award winning production team of her platinum-selling album ‘My One and Only Thrill': Producer Larry Klein(Joni Mitchell, Herbie Hancock), arranger and composer Vince Mendoza((Björk, Robbie Williams, Elvis Costello) and thelegendary engineer Al  Schmitt (Frank Sinatra, Joao Gilberto, Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney). An underlying theme of determination to create and evolve her craft has always been present in Melody Gardot's work but never more so than during the production of ‘Sunset in the Blue', despite all obstacles she has assembled a stunning new body of collaborations in this most challenging of times.

From Paris With Love

Melody's call out to fans in May for a global, virtual campaign was answered by hundreds of fans across the world. The internationally acclaimed singer invited fans to take part in the chance to perform in place of a standard orchestra on her eagerly-awaited new single, entitled ‘From Paris With Love.' The campaign received entries from over 400 musicians and 1000 submissions for the visual element of the campaign. The final selection sees string and woodwind players represented from over 15 different countries.

Live in Europe

International best-selling singer, songwriter and musician, Melody Gardot, is releasing her first live album. ‘Live in Europe' will be available as a 2CD album and special limited edition vinyl set on 9th February on Decca Records. The record celebrates the success of her live shows around the world and includes concert performances of her greatest hits, recorded between 2012 and 2016.

Personally curated by Melody herself, the album features some of her best loved songs, including Baby I'm A Fool (recorded in Vienna in 2013 and London last year), My One and Only Thrill (from Barcelona in 2012), Les Etoiles (from London last year) and March For Mingus (from Utrecht last year).

Melody says: "This album holds my heart, and the love of all the people who supported us along the way. It is as much a gift to me, for the memories it holds, as it is my gift to you, the listener. This album is simply a very long thank you to all of you. I am forever grateful."

The extraordinary voice, and underlying attitude, which exudes both strength and grace, is unmistakably Melody Gardot. The music world will be reminded instantly of the rare combination of natural talent and musical sophistication with which Melody effortlessly captures and holds her audience in the palm of her hand.
