One of today's most acclaimed baritones Nathan Gunn, releases: Just Before Sunrise. For years, Gunn has won acclaim for a wide range of opera roles, including Britten's Billy Budd, Papageno in Mozart's Die Zauberflete, and Clyde Griffiths, which he sang in the 2005 world premiere of Tobias Picker's An American Tragedy at the Metropolitan Opera. Just Before Sunrise, a collection of contemporary romantic, and intimately scaled songs, shines a light on another, seldom heard facet of this singer's talents, and finds a deep personal connection.
