Holding the Storm is Nick Farr's tenth recording of original compositions. This exciting new work offers something for every listener. From Neo-Classical to Celtic to smooth jazz and from solo piano to small ensemble to large orchestra, these are his latest works. Many years in the making, this unique album is a memorable, musical journey of melodic and mindful works as seen and heard though Nick's creativity and imagination.

Nick’s ninth album, Between Then and Now, was met with critical acclaim, and was nominated for the ZMR Best Neo-Classical Album of the Year. The composer's seventh and eighth recordings, A View from Within and Of Time and Place spent months at top the of the Airwaves Chart and are favorites of his fans. These recordings included the piano hit "As Once It Was" and the mighty orchestral piece "Concerto Americana".  Nick’s sixth recording The Ever Present Now wowed listeners with the hits “And So It Is” and “Winter Prayer”. This work earned a prestigious # 1 on Top 100 Airwaves Chart and ranked on Top 100 iTunes Chart for New Age. “And So It Is” has had over 60 million streams on Pandora alone. His fifth recording, Keep Moving, hit the airwaves strongly as well, coming in hot at # 3.  Farther, Farr’s 2000 release, held the respectable # 1 position for November having debuted at # 3 on the New Age Voice Airwaves chart in October 2000. It remained in the Top 40 for six months as well as on Top 20 radio lists well into 2002. Farther has been used in film and television as theme and background music—a setting that is well suited for the composer’s wide range of styles.
