Broadchurch - The Final Chapter

While avid US fans await the return of Broadchurch to BBC America this year, they can get a taste of the "bona fide national obsession" (Entertainment Weekly) in BAFTA-winning composer Ólafur Arnalds' brand new soundtrack for the third and final season, Broadchurch: The Final Chapter. His atmospheric music sets the scene for the third and final series of the hit ITV drama, starring David Tennant and Olivia Coleman. 

Broadchurch creator Chris Chibnall is a fan of Ólafur Arnalds and listened to his music when writing the show's script. "Ólafur's music just broke my heart," he said. "I instinctively felt if we could get him, it would be amazing." Three series later, the pair have forged a strong creative collaboration. Deemed crucial to the show by fans and critics alike, Arnalds' evocative music combines contemporary classical influences with avant-garde electronics and ambient sounds.
