Violinist Rachel Barton Pine's 'Capricho Latino', on Cedille Records, takes listeners on a rare tour of Latin-flavored music strictly for solo violin. With 14 works from the late-Romantic era to present day, and written by composers from Latin America, Spain, and greater Europe, the disc includes world premiere recordings by Isaac Albeniz, Roque Cordero, Cesar Espejo, Luis Jorge Gonzalez, Jose White, Jose Serebrier, and Astor Piazzolla.
