It can be said that this is the time for unity and harmony. These qualities are also found in music, especially across genres, as is the case of the new album Strings for Peace, where east and west come together. This album is the result of a collaboration between sarod maestro Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, his sons Amaan Ali Khan and Ayaan Ali Khan and multiple Grammy winning classical guitar artist Sharon Isbin.

The music of Strings of Peace is a fusion of classical sarod and guitar music. Explaining the title, Amaan Ali Khan says, "Strings for peace is extremely relevant. Especially in the wake of a pandemic. We've known Sharon for a decade. We didn't know this creation will come to fruition at a time when humanity will need to consider meditation more than ever."
