Sony classical is pleased to announce the release of the original motion picture soundtrack of X-MEN: FIRST CLASS. Henry Jackman has composed an exciting accompaniment to the action in this film, the eagerly awaited prequel to the blockbuster X-Men series. In composing for a movie in a high-profile series it follows X-Men (2000), X-Men 2: X-Men United (2003), X-Men 3: The Last Stand (2006) and X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) Jackman landed his biggest commission to date and has the talent and experience for this task. "The sheer scope of the film and Matthew Vaughn's uninhibited sensibility allowed me to unleash what I hope is an exciting score," stated Jackman.
