Tom is an Ivor Novello nominated composer, pianist, and clarinetist. Known for pushing the boundaries of experimental contemporary classical through his collaborations, he is one of the new generation straddling the recording artist/film composer divide, with 2021 promising to be another busy year with both collaborative Max Cooper and Floex LPs slated for release.
His most recent film work is the score for Kevin Macdonald's forthcoming feature The Mauritanian, starring Tahar Rahim, Jodie Foster and Benedict Cumberbatch. Previous credits include the acclaimed BBC/AMC eight-part crime drama series McMafia, starring James Norton and David Strathairn for which he wrote and produced the score, the feature-length documentary The Man Behind The Microphone, directed by Claire Belhassine, and the docu-drama series Rise of the Nazis for 72 Films / BBC Studios.
Tom has created original score for feature films, documentaries, TV drama, ballet and multiple award-winning advertising campaigns.
